History of Norman Lodge
The history of Norman Lodge is as varied as the history of the State of Oklahoma. The Lodge
was first formed in Indian Territory. It was constituted and a charter issued to Norman Lodge
No. 38, A.F. & A.M. on November 5, 1890 by the Grand Lodge of Indian Territory, Muskogee. The
Lodge then became part of Oklahoma Territory and it was constituted and a charter issued to
Norman Lodge No. 5, A.F. & A.M. on December 3, 1892 by the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma
Territory. After Oklahoma became a state in 1907, the Lodge was constituted and charter issued
to Norman Lodge No.38, A.F. & A.M. on February 11, 1909 by the Grand Lodge of the State of
Oklahoma.
